Associate Partner Network
The FTA intents to extend the current network of partners and collaborations. Interested parties are invited to join the FTA Associate Partner Network and benefit from and contribute to the FTA. Possibilities for collaboration exist in the contribution of course materials or joint development or translation, in sharing tutoring staff, in running existing or new courses on the Campus, and exploit these together, in communicating and attracting new groups of learners, in contributing to the technological (further) development of the Campus and/or share knowledge about the Campus and the distance learning methodologies applied.
One of the objectives of the FTA is to expand the initial offering of courses. The following extensions are currently being considered:
- to expand the initial 8 course modules to a full master programme;
- to expand the course modules into other languages;
- to expand the course programme with related courses and curricula, such as Open Innovation, Open Hardware, Free Culture, Web Culture, etc.;
- to expand the FTA programme to other levels of education.
The FTA strives to transfer the expertise acquired in the initial phase through collaboration programmes, specially within the FTA Associate Network. This expertise includes the technology behind the virtual campus, the adopted methodology for distance learning and the content of the courses themselves. Besides, the FTA network will help co-developing and exploiting the developed resources.
