The File Archive of the Free Technology Academy

In July 2020, the activities and services of the Free Technology Academy<(FTA) were officially closed. Consequently, the parent organization and maintainer of FTA, the Free Knowledge Institute (FKI), converted the whole FTA website to a set of static pages, after adding content restored from old backups. FKI did this in order to preserve as much documentation, open educational resources and history of the whole FTA project as possible.

Due to lack of resources, however, this restoration and conversion process was not perfect. It is certainly possible, for example, that some WORKING links in the static website point at different files, or pages, than those they should actually link to. This is especially likely for links to course material, i.e. copies of books and other materials in several formats.

As a consequence of this fact, many images, documents, and a few videos restored from backups, remained "orphan", meaning that it was not possible to recreate the website pages that originally linked to them, or to add links to them into the current pages.

This page lists, and links to, all those orphan resources, in order to keep them indexable from search engines, and above all available to the community, with the same license of all the other work of the Free Technology Academy.

IMPORTANT: This index page is automatically generated by a script that just visits all the folders and subfolders of the files archive, prints their names, and then add links to the files inside each (sub)folder. The (often cryptic...) names of both folders and subfolders are the same found in the original backup files. Therefore, if you find any error in this index, e.g. broken links, or files that were miscategorized or given wrong names, please email FKI at access@freeknowledge.eu. Please contact FKI also if you happen to have any copy of files that should be ADDED to this archive!
